Reunion Updates: Class Funds & Hotel

Hi Class!

It’s been awhile since the last update and so much has been going on behind the scenes.  In the last post we mentioned some issues we were having with our class funds.  Charmaine and I decided to write Fr. Hartigan to address this issue. Below is the letter:

Letter to the CCHS President

I received a very timely email response from Fr. Hartigan. Below is his response:

Dear Lakisha,

First let me apologize for the time wasted and the inaccurate messages you were given. This is not the way we operate. I just returned from being out of the country and am presently on retreat. I have forwarded your email to our Development Director. When I get back to Central Catholic next week, I assure you this will be given my top priority. Let me assure you also that this is NOT your problem, it is ours. We will make it right.

If someone doesn’t get back to you by July 1, please contact me. I once again  apologize for all the trouble this is causing.

I received an apology phone call from the Development Office this morning and it sounds like they are really going to get moving on this. We should know something very soon!

In other news, we have a hotel!  Thanks Mike Smith for organizing this. Crowne Plaza Toledo  is the official reunion hotel. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 419-241-1411. Please mention “CCHS Reunion” when calling the hotel to receive the reunion rate of $89 per night from Friday, September 16-Sunday, September 18.  The last day to reserve a hotel room is August, 26, 2011.  After this date all empty rooms will be released. Any reservations made after this date will not be eligible for the group rate.

Lastly, we are currently looking at additional options for Saturday’s program.  We will let you know what we decided.
